Willowy or cane-like Dendrobiums can be five inches to eight feet tall. Coloration runs the gamut from jade green with a purple lip, to white with a hardly discernible pink inner lip. Flowers can be spidery and delicate, or blowzy and extravagant. They make great potted arrangements, lasting for two to three months--I have used them extensively in large reception rooms and as floor arrangements, too. Striking, always.
